June 2024. 11th CRU Ferroalloys Europe 2024 Conference.

In June 2024, the management of Wenga Sp. z o.o. participated in the 11th CRU Ferroalloys Europe 2024 conference held from June 11-13, 2024, in Amsterdam, Netherlands.
During the conference, meetings were held with long-standing reliable partners of WENGA Sp. z o.o., namely JSC Nikopol Ferroalloy Plant, JSC Zaporozhye Ferroalloy Plant, and JSC “POKROVSKIY GZK”. Negotiation protocols were signed with the chairmen of these companies, agreeing on ways to develop joint commercial relations in the long term.
Mutual satisfaction with the cooperation results was expressed, and intentions to continue commercial activities in the future were declared.
Opportunities to increase the volume of ferroalloy sales by partners in the European market were considered. Additionally, partners showed interest in purchasing coke-coal products, equipment, and spare parts from European manufacturers.
New connections with potential partners were established, and ideas and opportunities for commercial activities were discussed, both in terms of trade and commercial transportation and forwarding activities in the European region.

May 2024. A license has been obtained for providing intermediary services in road transport of goods. 

In April 2024, the management of WENGA SP. Z O.O. made a decision to expand the company's scope of activities. Obtaining a license for expeditionary activities will enable us to offer a wider range of services to both our existing partners and the opportunity to attract new clients.

April 2024. Audit of the company's activities was completed.

In December 2022, the Board of WENGA SP. Z.O.O. decided to conduct an Audit of the annual financial statements for 2022, 2023 years and appointed an independent auditor for this purpose, taking into account the mandatory audit due to increased financial turnover. In March and April, joint work was carried out with an audit company. In April 2023, a positive opinion from the Auditor was received. The financial statements present a fair and clear picture of the Company's property and financial position as at 31 December 2023. The adopted accounting principles correspond in form and content to the current legislation.


Summing up the results of 2023.

Sales of coke-coal products amounted to approximately 10,000 tons;
Sales of electrode mass - around 1,600 tons;
Sales of quartzite - over 30,000 tons;
Sales of ferroalloys - approximately 2,400 tons;
With our own fleet, we transported around 50,000 tons of bulk cargo within the territory of Poland and the European Union.
November 2023 Update of the car fleet.

We are glad to announce that our company continues to expand its horizons.
In November, Wenga sp. z o. o. two MAN TGX 4x2 tractors and two MEGA MNL aluminum trailers with a capacity of 43 m3 were purchased. This allows us to increase efficiency, increase volumes of transportation and types of cargo.

Results of fleet renewal in the first half of 2023.

For the first half of 2023, after the addition of the vehicle fleet that we mentioned earlier, our company managed to transfer about 28th tons bulk materials, such as ferroalloys, coke, coal, crushed stone, agricultural lime and others. In March, Wenga sp. z o. o. purchased a Truck Volvo FH 460, two aluminum trailers MEGA MNL with a capacity of 26 m3 and one steel trailer MEGA MNW with a capacity of 28 m3.

This allows us to increase efficiency, increase transportation volumes and types of cargo.

Summarizing the results of 2022

Sales of coke and coal products amounted to about 90 thousand tons;
Sales of electrode mass - more than 2 thousand tons;
Sales of quartzite - more than 55 thousand tons;
Sales of equipment and materials - in the amount of more than 2 million euros;
About 27,000 tons of bulk cargoes were transported by our own trucks fleet across the territory of Poland and the European Union.

September 2022. Vehicle fleet renewal. 

We are pleased to announce that we are expanding our vehicle fleet. At the beginning of September 2022, our company purchased a small loader, BobCat S770, production year: 2021, which we have already successfully put into operation. 

We remind you that Wenga Sp.z.o.o provides rental services for loaders, as well as cargo transportation of construction and other bulk materials.

September 2021. Conferences. Commercial negotiations and business development prospects.

WENGA SP. Z O.O. took part in the 15th annual conference CIS Metallurgical Raw Materials Markets (September 15-16, Tbilisi, Georgia).
Negotiations were held with producers and suppliers of raw materials, trade and transport companies.
Within the framework of the conference, meetings were held with reliable partners of WENGA sp. z o.o. with JSC Nikopol Ferroalloy Plant and JSC Zaporozhye Ferroalloy Plant.
Protocols of negotiations were signed with the commercial directors of the factories, ways of developing joint commercial relations in the long term were agreed.

May 2021. Trucking.

We went through a year that tested us. We took a risk and opened a new type of activity - road cargo transportation. In January, we received a license for international cargo transportation. In April, the fleet and personnel were completed. Since May 2021, we have been providing bulk cargo transportation services across Poland and the European Union.

February 2021. Summing up the results of 2020.

Ferroalloys sales exceeded 19 thousand tons;
Waste paper sales - 1060 tons;
Quartzite sales - over 30 thousand tons;
Coal sales - over 7 thousand tons;
Sales of equipment and materials - over 90 thousand euros.

January 2021. We are expanding the geography of waste paper procurers.

High prices for the waste paper in Poland, as well as overstated freight rates, did not allow us to offer an acceptable price for our Ukrainian partners during the 4th quarter of 2020.
Together with our partners, we are monitoring the situation in the recycling industry in the Eastern European markets.
In January, sales of waste paper from Slovakia to PJSC "Zhydachevsky Pulp and Paper Mill began".

November 2020. Trial deliveries of coking coal. 

In the period from October to November 2020, our company made trial deliveries of the coking coal, fraction 0-35.1 mm (produced in Poland) to the one of the largest coke producers in Ukraine.

September 2020. We resume the usual routine and work rhythm.

From 17.03.2020 to September 2020, our company's employees worked remotely. On September 21, it was decided to resume the standard operating mode. Actions have been taken to secure the distance. Disinfectants were purchased and we plan to purchase more in the future. 

June 2020. Supplies of micanite products for JSC "Zaporozhye Ferroalloy Plant".

Our company, on a regular basis, wins a tender for the supply of micanite electrical insulating products. European quality, flexible payment terms, delivery by road to the consumer's warehouse within the required time frame - allow us to be confident in long-term cooperation with JSC "Zaporozhye Ferroalloy Plant".

March 2020. COVID-19, home office

We take the safety of all our employees and partners seriously. To reduce the number of contacts, it was decided to organize remote work from home.

February-March 2020. German quality at its best!

The contract concluded in August 2018 with a leading German manufacturer of equipment for the mining and metallurgical industry has been completed. The delivery of a gear rim segment (made of hardened and heat-treated steel) to JSC “POKROVSKIY GZK” has been made.

January 2020. Summing up the results of 2019.

·         sales of ferroalloys amounted to more than 17 thousand tons;

·         sales of waste paper - about 850 tons;

·         quartzite sales - more than 20 thousand tons;

·         sales of equipment and materials - more than 40 thousand euros.

September-December 2019. We continue and develop cooperation in supplies of equipment and materials from the EU to the mining and metallurgical companies of Ukraine.

In the period 3-4 quarters of 2019, contracts were signed for the supply of a wide range of equipment and materials:

·         Washers, gaskets and bushings made of heat-resistant mikanite operating at high temperatures (500 ° C) (made in Poland);

·         DC High-speed Circuit Breaker UR15 (made in Switzerland);

·         Circular cross-cut saw DMDK-50C (made in Poland);

·         Accumulator batteries for diesel locomotives (made in Bulgaria).

August 2019. New direction of trading activity. Sale of waste paper.

In Ukraine, more than 30 enterprises produce cardboard and corrugated board. The industry is experiencing a shortage of waste paper (secondary raw materials). Enterprises need about 1 million tons per year, the domestic market provides 60-70% of the demand. Producers are forced to consider imports from nearby countries (Poland, Slovakia, Romania, Moldova, Hungary). We managed to launch a supply chain of waste paper from Poland to PJSC “Zhydachiv Pulp and Paper Mill”.

July 2019. Start of sales of Polish-made conveyor rollers to the Ukrainian market.

We continue to develop our strong business relationships with mining and metallurgical companies in Ukraine and Poland in the field of equipment supplies. The delivery of the first batch of conveyor rollers (446 pcs.) to JSC "POKROVSKIY GZK" was carried out. Rollers produced by INTERkrąż Sp. z o.o.

June 2019. Expanding the geography of sales of ferroalloy products.

We are developing our strong ties and actively promoting ourselves in the European Union markets. In June 2019, the first deliveries of Ukrainian-made ligatures to the markets of Italy and the Netherlands took place. Based on the results of the first deliveries, long-term contracts were signed.

To fulfill our obligations in the field of ferroalloy supplies to the ports of Italy and the Netherlands, our company conducted a market analysis and concluded contracts for forwarding services.

May 2019. Conclusion of a contract with Euler Hermes S.A.

Accounts receivable insurance in the context of dynamic business development of our company WENGA SP. Z O.O., is a priority and relevant for us. Analysis of the market for these services allowed us to choose a reliable and stable company Euler Hermes S.A., which is part of the Allianz group. The result is the signing of an annual contract (with the possibility of automatic prolongation) with Euler Hermes S.A.

March 2019. Presentation of COBRA EUROPE SP. Z O.O. for the Ukrainian market.

Under the Agency contract, WENGA SP. Z O.O. organized the opportunity to hold a presentation of the company COBRA EUROPE SP. Z O.O. for potential consumers (enterprises of the mining and metallurgical complex of Ukraine). Markus Lamb - President of the company and Maria Namdakow - Export Sales Director made a presentation of high-tech conveyor belts of their own production.

March 2019. Commercial negotiations and business development prospects.

Negotiations with the Commercial Directors of JSC “Nikopol Ferroalloy Plant” and JSC “Zaporozhye Ferroalloy Plant” took place in Ukraine. Protocols of negotiations have been signed, ways of developing joint commercial relations in the long term have been agreed upon.

February 2019. Start of supplies of metallurgical quartzite to the Polish market.

The negotiations that began in November 2018 have brought results! The contract has been signed, supplies have begun. Providing the ferroalloy industry in Poland with high-quality quartzite of the TK 97 - 100 grade, produced by the Private Joint Stock Company “Tolkachevsky Mining and Processing Plant”.

January 2019. Change of address of the company's headquarters.

January 14, 2019 Management Board of WENGA SP. Z O.O. made a decision to change the address of the company's headquarters. The new office is located at st. Uniwersytecka 13, 40-007 Katowice.

December 2018 WENGA SP. Z O.O. - Promotion agent of the Polish manufacturer's products on the Ukrainian market.

An agency agreement was signed with one of the main Polish manufacturers of rubber and fabric conveyor belts.

November 2018. Start of sales of ferroalloys to the Polish market.

In October-November 2018, negotiations were held with the largest producers of ferroalloys. The result was the signing of the first contracts for the supply of ferroalloy products to the Polish market.
